You usually add extras to a main treatment. But for quick fixes, I book them standalone.

Yes. Pure removal of foreign material or a repair is possible without a full manicure appointment.
For minimal accents, yes. For more elaborate designs or repairs, I ask for advance notice to plan the time.

Nail Design
Possible, but time-consuming. This must be booked strictly as 'Full Set Design'.
My focus is on elegant, wearable nail art: geometry, lines, French variations, and high-quality crystals. No complex painting (Characters).
No. With professional sealing, the design is just as durable as the polish itself.
Not with proper care. They are firmly embedded in the material.
Not recommended. A design only looks high-quality on a perfectly prepared and polished base.
Repair
Most mechanical damage, yes. However, I am not allowed to treat injuries to the nail bed or inflammation.
Usually until the next refill appointment. The repaired area is stable but should not be used as a tool.
No, it protects it. An open crack can tear further and become painful. Repair seals the area.
Promptly. A fresh crack is best and most unobtrusively repaired.
Removal
Only for foreign material. If you are already my client, removal of my material is included in the follow-up appointment.
Please come in. Improperly removed material damages the nail plate. I smooth and care for the residual damage.
No. I work with precise drills and without pressure. Your natural nails remain intact.
In most cases, yes. If the natural nail under the foreign material is too damaged, I recommend a regeneration break.
The composition and thickness of foreign material are often unknown. To avoid endangering the natural nail, I must remove it here particularly carefully and slowly.

Why usually one accent is enough
Ten fully designed nails are possible, but less is often more.
- The Focus: A single nail (usually the ring finger) looks elegant. Ten can look chaotic.
- Daily Life: Stones and 3D elements everywhere? They get in the way of typing and your hair. A single jewelry nail stands out without being annoying.
Repair is not a permanent state
A crack once in a while is normal. But if you come for a repair every week, something is wrong.
Either the length doesn't fit your job (too long for typing?) or we need to reinforce the material. Talk to me, we'll find a solution so you have peace of mind.

Why does foreign material cost extra?
Because I don't know what's on there.
Every studio uses different material. Some is hard as stone, some rubbery. I have to approach it carefully to not hurt your nail. That simply takes longer than with my own material, which I know inside out.
How to prevent it
A few habits help:
- Oiling: One drop every night. Keeps the material flexible.
- Gloves: Essential for cleaning. Detergents make the nail brittle.
- Use fingertips: Don't use the nail tip for picking or pushing.
If it happens anyway: Don't tear it further. Come in for a Repair – often I can save the length.
Why I should handle removal
Most damage happens during removal, not wearing.
Please don't:
- Pick: Rips layers off your natural nail.
- Scrape: Causes dents and thin spots.
My way: Gentle soaking or careful filing. Your natural nail stays intact.
How I fix it
I don't just glue it shuts, I stabilize it permanently.
- Silk Wrap: For fine cracks. An invisible fleece layer that holds everything together.
- Gel Build-up: If a corner is missing. I model the missing piece until it grows out.
Afterwards, you won't see a difference to the healthy nail.
Quick check before the appointment
Helps me plan:
- Design: Does it fit the job? Will you still like it in two weeks?
- Repair: Did you file on it? (Please be honest).
- Removal: Do you remember what's on it? (Gel, Acrylic, Shellac?)
Why breaks happen
Cracks don't come out of nowhere.
The Causes:
- Dryness: Dry nails snap like dry wood. Oil makes them elastic.
- Tools: Opening cans with your nails risks cracks.
- Impact: One hard knock – and the crack is there.
When to book?

- Design: Mention it when booking. It takes time and calm.
- Repair: Immediately. A small crack quickly becomes a big one.
- Removal: When it's grown out or you want a break.
