Chrome finishes, 3D designs, ombre fades – nail trends burn hot and fade fast. But underneath all of it, there's always the same foundation: shape, cuticle, surface.

My classic manicure is exactly that. Pure and simple. No polish, no hiding. Just honest care.

It's called 'classic' for a reason. This is the core of professional nail care. What you build on top is up to you, but we start here.

I use a buffer with different grit levels. The coarse side removes imperfections, the fine side refines, the finest side creates shine.

Where does the shine come from? Physics. I smooth the nail surface until it reflects light evenly. That's the shine.

It's completely natural. No chemical coating. It's your nail's own keratin glowing. It looks healthier than clear polish and lasts until it grows out or scratches up. Nothing to remove.

Trends kommen und gehen – Chrome, 3D, Ombré. Die Basis aber bleibt. Mit „klassisch“ meine ich: professionelle Nagelpflege ohne Farbe, ohne Extras, einfach sauber gemacht.

Egal ob du später lackierst oder nicht: Ich lege hier das Fundament. Form, Nagelhaut, Oberfläche – wenn das stimmt, sieht die Hand gut aus.

Die Nagelhaut schützt deinen Nagelansatz vor Bakterien. Wird sie wild weggeschnitten, wächst sie oft härter und fransiger nach.

Mir geht es um Balance: Ich weiche sie auf, schiebe sie sanft zurück und entferne nur das, was wirklich lose ist oder stört. So bleibt dein Schutz erhalten, sieht aber sauber aus.

The cuticle protects your nail root. It keeps bacteria out. If I just cut it off, I destroy that barrier.

My approach is different: I soften it, gently push it back, and remove only the dead skin that's hanging loose. I tidy up; I don't perform surgery.

The most common home mistake? Cutting too aggressively. The result is bleeding, infection, and skin that grows back harder to protect itself. Let me handle it.

Klassische Maniküre ist Pflege im Rhythmus, kein Tattoo. Nägel wachsen, Haut wächst nach.

Nach etwa 2–3 Wochen lässt der Effekt nach – das ist normal. Wenn du regelmäßig kommst, bleibt dein Standard konstant hoch.

Zu Hause feilen viele „einfach drauflos“ (das klassische Hin-und-her-Sägen). Das macht die Spitze brüchig.

• Richtung: Ich arbeite kontrolliert, um den Nagel zu versiegeln, statt ihn aufzureißen.
• Winkel: Ein kleiner Schiefstand reicht, und die Form wirkt asymmetrisch.

Klingt nach Kleinigkeiten – den Unterschied siehst du aber sofort.

Filing looks easy. It isn't.

Direction: I file in one direction. Sawing back and forth destroys the nail tip and causes splits.

Angle: The angle of my file determines the shape. If I'm off by a degree, the nail looks crooked.

Symmetry: Getting ten fingers to look synonymous is the real work. That's what you pay me for.

Mein Buffer hat mehrere feine Seiten. Damit glätte ich die Oberfläche Schritt für Schritt – erst gleiche ich aus, dann werde ich feiner, am Ende poliere ich.

Warum es glänzt? Eine glatte Oberfläche reflektiert Licht gleichmäßiger. Je ruhiger ich die Nagelplatte mache, desto „gesünder“ wirkt der natürliche Schimmer.

Viele Männer buchen bei mir genau das: ordentlich, sauber, ohne Farbe.

Gerade im Job ist das unkompliziert – man sieht die Pflege, aber es wirkt nicht „gemacht“. Beim Händeschütteln oder Geschäftsessen sind es die kleinen Details, die ein souveränes Bild ergeben.

Polish shine sits on top. Buffer shine comes from within.

My buffer shines the actual nail material. It looks deeper, more 'healthy'. Polish looks cleaner but more artificial. Both are good. But the 'naked glow' of a buffer is special.

Polish is camouflage. A nice color hides a lot – uneven cuticles, rough surfaces, asymmetric shapes. The eye gets distracted by color.

With my classic manicure, I strip the camouflage. Everything is on display. That's why the quality has to be perfect.

A well-done classic manicure is actually harder than a polished one. I have no room for error. The result looks like 'nothing done' but feels like 'very well groomed'. That paradox is why I love it.

Schlicht heißt nicht langweilig – sondern bewusst. Eine ruhige Form, saubere Nagelhaut, ein natürlicher Glanz: Das wirkt sofort gepflegt.

Im Alltag sagt vielleicht kaum jemand etwas dazu. Aber man registriert es. Genau diese leise Wirkung macht den Look so stark.

Your hands are tools. You use them to present, to type, to greet. People notice them.

In some jobs, colored polish is a no-go. But ragged cuticles? Also a no-go.

The classic manicure is the solution. Understated. Effective. It says 'I pay attention to details' without shouting.

Wenn du bei mir regelmäßig Gel-Lack trägst, kann eine klassische Maniküre zwischendurch richtig gut tun.

Nicht als Rückschritt, sondern als Kur: Wir pflegen Nagelhaut und Oberfläche intensiv – und danach trägt sich Farbe oft wieder schöner.

Without color, the shape is the hero. The options:

Round: Soft, natural. Follows the fingertip.

Square: Clean lines, modern. A bit stricter.

Squoval: Square with rounded corners. The lower maintenance hybrid.

Oval: Elegant. Visually lengthens the finger.

Almond: Dramatic. Needs length to work.

Es gibt zwei Arten:

• Glanz durch Lack: Kommt von einer Schicht obenauf.
• Glanz durch Politur: Erzeuge ich durch die Glättung des Nagels selbst.

Mein Ziel ist dieser natürliche Politur-Glanz: „Nichts drauf“ – und trotzdem strahlend.

Auf den ersten Blick sieht ein Nagel glatt aus – in echt sammeln sich Kratzer. Ich arbeite die Oberfläche so auf, dass sie „ruhig“ wirkt. Das sieht auch ohne Farbe gesund aus – und falls du später zu Hause lackierst, hält der Lack auf dieser Basis deutlich besser.

Your nail surface isn't smooth. It has microscopic dents and scratches. I refine that surface.

Even if you don't want color now, this prep makes any future polish adhere better. It's groundwork.

It takes 30 minutes. It lasts 2-3 weeks.

Why? Because skin grows. Nails grow. After 3 weeks, the geometry is off. Come back regularly, and you never have to think about your hands. They're just always done.

Farbe kaschiert viel: eine unruhige Nagelhaut, kleine Rillen oder eine schiefe Form. Man schaut automatisch auf den Lack.

Ohne Farbe sehe ich jedes Detail – und genau darum wirkt meine klassische Maniküre so hochwertig. Saubere Kanten, ruhige Form, gepflegte Haut: Das ist der Look.

Die klassische Maniküre passt zu dir, wenn:

• Du keine Farbe möchtest (einfach gepflegte Hände).
• Du wenig Zeit hast (ein klarer 30-Minuten-Slot).
• Deine Nägel eine Pause brauchen (nach längerer Gel-Zeit).
• Es beruflich sinnvoll ist (z. B. in Medizin oder Gastro).
