Why do both together

The advantage of doingboth at once

When upper lip and chin are done together, you gain time and harmony. When balance is achieved, you feel comfortable.

1

Visual unity

When top and bottom are equally groomed, your mouth area looks harmonious. No more 'clean here, not there' situation. The lower face as a whole is smooth and polished.

2

Peace of mind

That feeling of 'there's still something left'? Gone. One visit, two zones, done. Close the chapter, move on with life. No thinking about it for weeks.

3

Less hassle

Two areas, one visit. No separate appointments, no separate preparation. Practical and economical. Not a big deal — just smart.

4

Price advantage

Both together cheaper than separately. Time and money savings. Why come twice?

Lower face peace

When upper lip and chin are clean, your face looks completely different

You look in the mirror, there's a light fuzz above your lip or a few stubborn hairs on your chin. Sound familiar? I'm Nataliia. In my small home studio, I take care of exactly this. Calm, no rush, just you and me. These two zones complement each other. When you only do one, the other looks more noticeable — I call it the 'spotlight effect.' When you do both together, the lower face relaxes as a whole.

What bothers you

Fine hairs cast shadows in light. Makeup doesn't sit right. The hairs on your chin keep crossing your mind. Your hand keeps going to your face. Familiar?

Before you arrive

Four small things, big difference

Brief read, ready to start.

Hair length

Best not to shave that morning and put the tweezers away 7-10 days before. 2–3 mm is ideal so the paste grips well.

Cold sore check

If you have an active blister, let's reschedule the appointment. Health comes first. I can't work on open sores and we want to avoid spreading anything.

Strong actives

Retinol, AHA/BHA, or acids thin the skin. It would be great if you stop using them in the mouth area three days before to avoid irritation.

Skin condition

Active pimples on the chin? Just let me know briefly or show me before, so I can plan around it.

Aftercare

A little pamperingtime after

Simple rules to keep the skin calm.

1
Treatment day

Sun protection

  • The skin is freshly exfoliated and sensitive. A bit of shade or a good SPF helps avoid pigmentation spots.
2
Treatment day

Hands off

  • I know it feels smooth – but try not to keep touching it with your fingers. Bacteria love open pores too much.
3
First 24 hours

Pause for actives

  • Better skip acids, peels, and retinol for today and tomorrow. Your skin needs a moment to breathe.
4
First few hours

Makeup

  • If possible, skip heavy makeup for the first few hours. Mineral powder is okay if you feel more comfortable with it.
5
Treatment day

Avoid heat

  • Sauna and steam rooms might be too much for the skin today. A lukewarm shower is more relaxing.
6
First 24 hours

No perfume

  • Alcohol-based toner or perfume directly on the zone just stings unnecessarily. Water and mild care are plenty.
7
General

Keep it simple

  • Less is more. Gently wash, moisturize, done.

Two zones, one calmer look

Upper Lip & Chinthe combo you instantly notice in the mirror

Why is this combo so popular?

Once the upper lip is clean, the eye naturally drifts to the chin. If one is smooth and the other isn't, it stands out.

That's why tackling both at once is a classic: The lower face looks completely fresh, and the light reflects evenly instead of in patches.

Fine fuzz above, coarser below: Totally normal

It's common to have fine fluff on the lip and stray coarse hairs on the chin – a very typical mix.

I treat both zones with the same goal: It should look calm in the light and feel smooth to the touch, ending the constant need to check.

When light and cameras get honest

In dim bathroom light, everything might look fine. But daylight or a selfie camera is ruthless.

This combo is for those moments: Chatting with a friend in the sun or taking a photo without that 'is it visible?' stress.

Make-up looks more unified

After this combo, many notice that foundation and powder sit much calmer on the lower face.

It's not about perfection, but less hassle: no hairs collecting product, no texture highlighted in the light.

Both sensitive, but doesn't have to be stressful

Upper lip and chin are sensitive areas, especially the first time.

I'll guide you through it, work without pressure, and pause if you need. You'll be surprised how manageable it is at the right pace.

Plan for a calm aftermath

After treatment, both areas might look red or feel sensitive.

If possible, give your lower face a break for the rest of the day. Usually, the look calms down significantly within 1–2 hours.

Quick Checklist: Appointment Notes

  • Prep (Chin): Please do not pluck for approx. 10–14 days before, so I can grip the roots.
  • Length: Ideal for both zones is approx. 3–5 mm.
  • On the day: No cream or lip balm directly on the area (paste grips oil-free skin best).
  • Rhythm: Usually every 3–5 weeks for lasting peace of mind.
  • After (24h): Avoid excessive heat, sweat, and friction.

Need more or less?

If only one spot bothers you, check out the Upper Lip or Chin pages.

But if temples or cheeks are also involved, moving directly to Face 3-in-1 or Face Complete might make more sense.
